miniTX. The ultimate in remote controlled, concealable transmitters
The spotlight is on
Small, robust and splash proofed against sweat ingress when worn close the body the miniTX has been designed to meet the demands of modern studio and sound recording. Measuring only 82mm high by 48mm wide by 16.5mm thin, it weighs a tiny 90gms including batteries. Comfortable and easily hidden, even in tight costumes, it is as much a favorite of the artist's and costumier's as the professional sound recordist.
Stay in control
It's not just the size and weight that makes this transmitter popular with artists and costumiers. The miniTX can be switched On/Off, frequencies checked and changed and battery status monitored using the SwitchIR. It can also be switched On/Off through clothing with the Control-X, which removes the need to adjust costumes during filming.
Up to 24MHz switchable bandwidth
The miniTX has up to 32 pre-programmed frequencies, with a switching bandwidth of up to 24MHz (the equivalent of 3 European or 4 U.S. TV channels).
Powered by 2xAAA batteries
The miniTX can run for up to 5 hours on 2xAAA 1.5v batteries or up to 10 hours with Lithium batteries.
CX2/P 2-Channel Slot-In True Diversity Receiver
Total flexibility. Anywhere in the world
The CX2-P is a twin channel, true diversity receiver specifically designed to fit neatly into most professional Panasonic and Ikegami slot in cameras. It is equipped with two true diversity receivers which can be linked to separate transmitters and features a large 80MHz switching bandwidth making it ideal for ENG crews and documentary makers who work in different locations around the world. Up to 10 different frequency tables can be preset in the unit giving it enormous flexibility and within each table, individual frequencies can be manually selected using the OLED menu displays. It is also equipped with a digitally controlled tracking filter that automatically tracks the chosen frequency table and allows greater selectivity for the frequency table being used.
The CX2-S draws its power from the camera itself. Separate batteries are not required.
Easy set up menus
This unit is set up using a series of menus which are viewed in the OLED display. You are guided through the set up by a series of easy-to-read symbols and all parameters are selected using three buttons on the unit's front panel. It's so straightforward you won't need any further written instructions from them.
OLED menu driven displays
This unit has an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display which is extremely clear yet consumes very little power. The screen shows all the important information you need to monitor the system when in use and also displays the En2's unique easy set-up menu.
Frequency scan function
In an increasingly crowded environment, you need to be able to select usable frequencies on location quickly. So, all receivers in the En2 range have a built-in scan facility which allows you to scan for a free channel or scan for the transmitter. In addition, on this unit, selecting 'tune' mode brings up a spectrum analyzer type display which allows you to see the RF in the local environment.
